Association Accomplishments
The Coeur d'Alene Airport Association was established in 2007 by Murdo Cameron and Frank O'Connell. It was formed to preserve the Coeur d’Alene airport, improve community relations, foster bilateral communications between this association and airport operations, participate in planned growth, enhance flying safety and promote fellowship among pilots and aviation enthusiasts.

Here are some of the things the CDA Airport Association accomplished since the formation of this group vital to the health of the Coeur d'Alene Airport.
EMERGENCY SIGNS
The CDA Airport Association designed and supplied emergency signs for each hangar in the airport, an important safety feature. These signs were complementary of the Association.
AIRPORT WATCH SIGNS
The CDA Airport Association designed and supplied Airport Watch signs to attach to fencing around the perimeter of the airport. These signs reminded people who observed anything questionable to call the sheriff. It also reminded everyone that they were on camera. These contribute to the safety of the airport.
MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Communication is important for pilots, hangar owners and tenants. Most every month a newsletter with all the latest information about the airport is distributed to the Association members
